Works are primarily abstract in nature, retaining a deep connection with the essence of natural surroundings, exploring the natural tension in the elements beyond figurative accuracy, creating pieces that are an expressive investigation of the subject, rich in movement, texture, light and shade.

The process begins with experimental studies, sketching and collage, before transferring to larger format canvas through a range of mixed media techniques.
